The next day, Alacar decided to take leave of the party. After all, each of them had plans with the cash they had earned. Roland went straight to his temple to tithe his rewards; Thrender and Fraedo decided to go shopping for equipment and other things; Alacar had decided to do what he does best: Rumor-mongering. The Cracked Clown was too uptight for his liking, so he checked his map and went to another pub, Nat Wyler’s Bell. While not very hospitable looking, it was near the docks, so it attracted many of the sailors who had only yesterday been freed. Today, most of them were

The party spent the rest of that dark day learning the layout of the city, using the proclamation they’d used first, then buying a cheap map from the city’s varied but still slow moving marketplace. Various taverns and inns were available. Alacar sighed in relief. “At last, a place to wet my whistle,” he smiled and pointed to the map. “I’ll be over at the Cracked Clown, if you want me.” Roland shrugged and Fraedo poked him. “I’m comin’ with ya!” He shouted. “I need a good mug of ale before we leave for that Keep.” Alacar chuckled and walked towards the relatively quiet residential area t

As the ship drew closer, the excitement held by the crew quickly faded. A black cloud stretched over the bleak city. Alacar ran to the front of the bow, gazing toward his destination. Phlan was just as worn as he’d heard from the rumormongers in Hillsfar, their departure point. The city walls surrounded what he could see of the city, so it was difficult to discern the faint lines of the city blocks. The river split the city in half, but the bridge was out of sight. The river was strangely blackened, and when Alacar examined it, the water around the boat turned just as vile. Off to the l

Alacar Leoricar looked out onto the open sea, clinging to the high mast as he stood precariously on the high sail. His back to the wind, the sail was in full and was lapping silently among the waves. He sighed. They had been on the ocean for about a week now, with not a sight of land, but he didn’t mind. He had been raised on the sea, so as his dark green eyes scanned the horizon, he felt they could pierce clouds. Of course, he was a long way from doing such spellcraft as that. I AM DRAWING NEW STUFF! YAY!
I dunno what style I'll use.. probably half anime, half my own crazy ideas, half stick figures.
I know, that's three halves, so I guess I gotta work at 150%!
Expect some within the next week, though I still dunno how I'm gonna scan this is.

... and I mean that in the least perverted way possible
Welcome to ME! Alacar! Leoricar!
Um, what else..
Oh yeah. About me-
I'm your typical geek, I guess. I like many video games and RPGs, but I'm a D&D player at heart. Hence the name. I mean, do YOU know any Alacars? I know a few Alucards, but they're all posers. We all know who can kick butt bettah... okay, Alucard, but hey, Alacar can poke you to death!
But I deviate (pun intended) from the point--I AM tha NEW guy--so don't bite too hard, and if you have to hit me below the belt, let me know in advance.
P.S. I RARELY use emoticons, so don't expect any.
Peace, my spase peepoles
